Accelerate Auto is a nonprofit dedicated to advancing Black professionals in the automotive industry. Through educational programs, mentorship, student engagement, and strategic partnerships, we are shaping the future of the industry and advancing equity in automotive.
We are entering an exciting growth phase and are hiring a Program & Operations Coordinator to help strengthen our programs and build the systems that will support our next chapter.

The Program & Operations Coordinator will play a key role in translating vision into execution by managing core programs and operational systems. Please note that this role is hybrid and requires at least 3 days in office per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations and Systems
Build and maintain internal systems (Asana, shared calendars, workflows, Google Drive, budget tracking).
Develop SOPs to create clarity, consistency, and sustainability.
Manage organizational rhythm (meeting cadences, planning cycles, reporting timelines).
Program and Project Management
Develop and manage timelines for programs and events
Coordinate vendors, venues, volunteers, and logistics
Track deliverables and support accountability across collaborators
Comms and Admin Support
Support grant/report writing, email drafting and other communications
Prepare materials for the board, partners, or external meetings
Manage scheduling and document management as needed
Coordination
Maintain contact lists and communication with volunteers, students, mentors, and partners.
Support invitations, follow-ups, and stakeholder engagement for programs and events.

Based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and able to travel

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
3-6 years in operations, nonprofit management, or project management roles.
Demonstrated experience owning systems/tools (Asana, Google Suite, Airtable, or similar).
Strong written communication, research, and copyediting skills.
Proven ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines.
Commitment to equity, inclusion, and community-led change.
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
Experience in education, workforce development, or the automotive sector
Familiarity with grant-writing and reporting
